We are a small team of parents and like to make learning fun, engaging and visually stimulating! This app includes a handmade aesthetic of paper cutouts that children love and respond to. As parents we believe exposing kids to originals visuals spurs their own creative thinking. Through interactive play, kids hone their observation skills. Kids learn to compare shapes and begin to learn the observation of 'same' and 'different'. When moving shapes into their right places, kids learn to sort objects. Sorting and categorizing are important skills for problem-solving and are thus part of kindergartners math curriculum. Recognizing shapes is the precursor to recognizing letters and thus literacy. When recognizing letters kids must first be able to discern the differences between circles and squares, etc. Includes thoughtfully chosen music and sound effects. Hand-clapping and cheering reward kids and make them smile. Success is a wonderful motivator!
